Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is taking some precautions as she looks to return from a nagging groin injury, sporting a new look that caught the attention of fans.

Clark has missed two games with a groin strain and remains questionable for the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final against the Minnesota Lynx. Fever coach Stephanie White told reporters after practice on Monday that the team still isn’t sure if she will be able to take the court

“We still don’t know. It’s a day-to-day thing,” White said, via CBS Sports. “Did some stuff at practice today, making sure we don’t have any setbacks. We got to be smart about this. We’ll evaluate tomorrow morning at shootaround.”

Reporter Scott Agness shared a short video from Fever practice on Sunday showing Clark wearing compression tights — along with another new look that Fever fans noticed.

Clark had her hair up in a bun, which some fans thought was a new look for the Fever star who normally sports a ponytail.

“Tights and a bun?! Okayyy CC,” one fan wrote in a post on X.

“And a bun!” wrote another.

Others thought that Clark’s new look resembled former WNBA star Diana Taurasi.

“I like the new look with the Tights! Someone online said she DT 2.0!” a fan shared on X.

For her part, Clark has been more focused on returning to the court than her looks, saying she is doing everything necessary to return from the injury.

“Doing everything I can to put myself in a position to play the next game every single time,” Clark said. “That’s always my goal is to be available for the next game. Doing everything I can with the medical staff to be able to get my body right to be able to do that. But yeah, I feel good and just going day-by-day.”
